The West Side Detroit Polish American Historical Society (WSDPAHS) invites all members and friends to attend an Event Planning Meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the St. Colette Parish Activity Center, 17600 Newburgh Road, Livonia, Michigan.
This meeting is an opportunity for members to become more involved in the Society and help ensure that WSDPAHS continues to grow and fulfill its mission of researching, educating, preserving, publishing, and promoting the rich history and culture of Detroit’s west side Polonia.
The WSDPAHS Board is seeking to expand the role of its members by welcoming volunteers who are interested in sharing their time, talents, and treasures. Whether you enjoy planning events, preserving history, helping behind the scenes, or bringing new ideas to the organization, there are many ways to make a meaningful contribution.
During the meeting, attendees will learn about volunteer opportunities and how they can help:
- Continue hosting treasured community events
- Preserve beloved Polish traditions
- Strengthen and grow WSDPAHS
- Ensure the legacy of Detroit’s Polish American community for future generations
Light refreshments will be served.
